CHEERSSSSSSS TO THE NEW BEGINNING...

Considering that the teachers would be going through our blog as well…lets keep this a little formal...but definitely not boring....

The basic aim of this blog is to have a very friendly interaction with all the students….to keep them acquainted with the upcoming events of the college as well as the output and the feedback to those events. So not wasting too much space and our time let us ROCK ON \m/…….

RECRUITMENT DRIVE BY MICROSOFT CUG (11th and 12th August,2010)

The first event that is going to be held under the Microsoft CUG (Chandigarh User Group) is the RECRUITMENT DRIVE being held on the 11th and 12th of August,2010.  First of all…you would like to know what a user group is about!!

USER GROUP-not making it look like a definition but still giving a proper description :P …user groups are typically independently run, volunteer groups that meet from time to time and share information on a variety of technical topics. So in our language its more like meeting up and getting more out of the Microsoft platforms, products, technologies and resources and that too in a totally inexpensive way!!

Okay, now whatever would follow would be kind of a little boring for some…but definitely informative…. CUG is a non-political, non-profitable group which is run by Microsoft Student Partners (MSPs)….these MSPs represent some of the best technical minds in the country and work very close to Microsoft and so they represent the same across their campuses and region to evangelize Microsoft technologies. The CUG promotes every product that is technology related and support information by providing online help, chats, conducting exciting events etc.

Now in case you did not doze off on that…lol…here is the selection criteria to be a member of the CUG!!!

After being identified with their general qualifications, attitudes and reasons for participating, successful applicants then go through a selection process where they are assessed on the basis of:
1.       Leadership skills
2.       Communication skills
3.       Marketing skills
4.       Technical skills
5.       Managements skills

In case you feel you can pull that down, then the next thing you need to do is register yourself for appearing in the selection by submitting Rs. 50/- to the respective CRs of your class along with your e-mail ids. The CR is to submit the same to the members mentioned below.

So after having read all that I guess all you people interested in technology would definitely take part in this event. So gear up and be ready…\m/ :D

Oyeeeeeeeeeee…..the team members you can contact for the registration for the selections are:

Tarun Puri (CSE-3)                                            contact no:-9888004497
Gagandeep Singh (CSE-3)
Bhavya Dube (CSE-3)
